The A19 chip powers smooth performance across everyday apps and multitasking. It includes a four-core GPU, while the standard iPhone 17 uses a five-core version. The difference appears mainly in demanding graphics workloads.

Base storage starts at 256GB, doubling the entry storage found on many previous budget iPhones. The device also supports Apple Intelligence features through iOS 26.

The iPhone 17E includes IP68 water resistance, satellite Emergency SOS, and a USB-C port (limited to USB 2 speeds). Expandable storage is not available.
